What We Do
In the ATC there are many opportunities to do a lot of different activities. These range from learning about how aircraft fly to actually flying and shooting. Some of the activities may require you to be a certain age, but most are open to you as soon as you become a cadet.
The ATC is the perfect place to do many things that you wouldn’t be able to do on a normal day, where else could you learn to fly aerobatics, visit Royal Air Force Stations, tour foreign countries, play sports from local to International level, learn the skills to lead expeditions, become a target shooting marksman, gain your Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards, canoe through white water, assist your community, join a band, learn aviation subjects, go caving, parachute, climb, sail, ski.? These and much more are readily available to you as a member of the Air Cadet Organization, whether you are a cadet or staff member.
Many move activities are featured in on this site, so just visit the activities section and have a look around.
