About The Squadron

Today
The Squadron today is relatively small, compared to other squadrons in the area. This is due to the small recruiting area we have, although this means the the squadron can become a very close team, working together to get the most of out the organisation. For the size of the squadron we have achieved many things, including sports representation in a number of disciplines ranging from squadron to regional level, we have also had many cadets complete gliding scholarships. The squadron is well known for its shooting standard, having won the Graham and Potts Shooting Competition a number of times, with the individual and group trophies. Having a smaller number of cadets also means that there are more opportunities to take part in summer and Easter camps. Many of the cadets have been on at least one camp, with some currently having five camps under their belt. The squadron is a very friendly place and we hope to attract lots more to the squadron.
