8 CADETS ATTEND 9AEF
November 22nd, 201116 October 2011 8 cadets from 1466 Holmfirth Squadron got up very early and made their way to Holmfirth squadron HQ, for a journey in 59 Huddersfield Squadrons Mini Bus to Church Fenton.
After the safety video and parachute tests cadets were called through to be kitted out with flying suits, helmets, gloves and sick bags (just in case). All 8 cadets flew. Flt Lt Henley Johnson “the Boss at 9 AEF” flew with Cadet Martin when they landed he said “Cadet Martin has natural aptitude.”
We had a great day out and thank all the Staff at 9AEF.

RAF Celebrates 90th Anniversary
September 11th, 2009Flight Lieutenant Kirsty Piccavey joins regular RAF service personnel along with members of the RAF association at the celebratory lunch for 90 years of the Royal Air Force at the George Hotel, Huddersfield.
